Meet the Team

Our Team

Meet the folks who make it all happen. As a family business we care deeply about what we do every day.  Our aim is to ensure that you have an enjoyable, rewarding and hassle free experience so that you keep coming back for more.   The ground managers Jane & Peter are both county level shooters so we know what shooters look for and enjoy. In short, we are run by shooters for shooters.

Jane

"The Boss" Jane has been at the ground full time since 1991 and has been involved in all areas of the business over the years.

In the early days Jane would often be out trapping or on the mower but now manages the Clubhouse and office.

A good all round shot Jane rarely gets chance these days!

Peter

Jane's other half, responsible for the ground management.  Peter deals with the target setting, maintenance & safety.

When not at work Peter is a competitive clay shooter, enjoys a leisurely day fishing and also attempts to play golf (badly).

Safety Officer, 1st Aider & Instructor

Matthew

Peter & Jane's eldest son, Matthew is the latest addition to the team, joining full time in July 22 after finishing his college course in vehicle mechanics. With all the machinery on the ground his skills are bound to come in handy!

Matthew spends his spare time shooting, mainly sporting but he also enjoys game shooting when the opportunity arises.

Safety Officer

Vic

Vic Joined the team in 2017. Formerly a tank driver in the Royal Tank Regiment Vic has now moved to slightly smaller guns and is Peter's assistant out on the ground.

An avid shooter Vic can normally be found out shooting on his days off!

Safety Officer & 1st Aider

Tracey

Tracy is the expert in all things sweet and savoury after a long career with Birds Bakery.  She joined us as part time receptionist in May 2022.

Tracey enjoys a tipple in one of her local hostelries on a Friday night and is often found walking her cocker spaniels which she works on her husband's game shoot.
