How to find us
Cockett Farm is situated in the village of Farnsfield, approximately
12 miles north of Nottingham, on the borders of Sherwood Forest.
Mid way between Mansfield and Newark, just off the A617, the shooting
ground is located close to many major routes including the M1,
A1, A46, A52, A617 and A614.
From M1 Junction 29 - Take the A617 to Mansfield.
Follow this road through Mansfield towards Newark until you reach
a roundabout where the A617 crosses the A614. Go straight over
the roundabout (staying on the A617), after approximately 500
metres take a right turn (signposted Farnsfield). The Shooting
Ground is on the left after approximately half a mile.
From M1 Junction 28 - Take the A38 to Mansfield.
When you reach Mansfield take the A617 towards Newark. Follow
this road for a few miles until you reach a roundabout where the
A617 crosses the A614. Go straight over the roundabout (staying
on the A617), after approximately 500 metres take a right turn
(signposted Farnsfield).The Shooting Ground is on the left after
approximately half a mile.
From Nottingham - Take the A60 north towards
Mansfield. Follow this for several miles to a roundabout and join
the A614 to Doncaster. Follow the A614 to the “White Post”
roundabout (approximately 7 miles with the Trading Post pub on
your right and 4x4 garage on the left). Turn right to the village
of Farnsfield. As you approach the village, turn left into Cockett
Lane (just before the 30 mph sign). Go over the hump-back bridge
and Cockett Farm is straight in front of you, with the entrance
on a sharp left hand bend.
